| Abstract | An elementary function is one of the foundational notions of calculus course. However, many calculus textbooks do not provide students with a clear definition of the elementary function or simply avoid it completely. The current paper offers a simple and rigor approach of introducing the notion of an elementary function via linear algorithms. |
